New York Polyphony at Saint Thomas Church Fifth AvenueYesterday (Sunday, August 15), New York Polyphony provided the music for the liturgy at Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue.  Not only did it give us an opportunity to dust off a terrific mass setting from 13th Century England and a few other gems appropriate for the Feast of Saint Mary the Virgin, it marked the beginning of a new chapter of the band: our first performance with baritone, Christopher Dylan Herbert.  We couldn’t be happier with our music-making… but don’t take our word for it– listen for yourself!

Follow this link to tune into the archived stream of the service.  (The Gloria kicks in about 5 minutes into the webcast.)

Now, we’re in Woods Hole, MA for a remount of My end is my beginning, a 80-minute mix of ancient and modern music with composer/ performer Bora Yoon.  But we’ll talk more about that later….
